The VTCT Skills Level 7 Diploma in Non-surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures is designed for professionally qualified advanced aesthetic practitioners aged 18 and over. This qualification is designed for individuals who already possess advanced knowledge and skills in non-surgical skin rejuvenation techniques. It provides comprehensive training in non-surgical aesthetic injectable procedures, ensuring that practitioners are well-prepared to offer safe and effective procedures.
Delivery Model Once registered each student will have a year to complete. 5 THEORY ASSIGNMENTS – Self-study at home completing UBT517 & UBT519 & UBT521, UBT516, UBT518 under supervision & guidance once a month with your trainer.
INPUT PHASE 1 @ THE ACADEMY - 5 DAY BLOCK
- INDUCTION & BASIC LIFE SKILLS QUALIFICATION - I day
- SKIN BOOSTER DAY + FORMATIVE ASSESSMENTS – 1 day
- BOTOX input – 1.5 days
- FILLERS input – 1.5 days
- BOTOX & FILLERS - supervised formative assessments upper & lower face – 1 day
A minimum of 10 supervised formative clinical case studies for botulinum toxin procedures to include a minimum of 5 formative case studies on the upper face & 5 formative case studies on the lower face/neck
A minimum of 10 supervised formative clinical case studies for dermal filler procedures to include a minimum of 5 formative case studies using a needle & 5 formative case studies using a cannula
A minimum of 6 supervised formative clinical case studies for skin booster procedures to include a minimum of 3 formative case studies using a needle & 3 formative case studies using a cannula.
PHASE 2 - COMPLETION OF ASSIGNMENTS REMOTELY WITH GUIDANCE.
FINAL ASSESSMENT PHASE 3 – 2 DAYS @ THE ACADEMY COMBINING ALL 3 TREATMENTS IN FINAL ASSESSMENTS OVER 2 DAYS & 1 DAY EXAMS/COMPLETION OF PORTFOLIO.
What does this qualification cover? This qualification will focus on the required practical and theoretical knowledge to enable the learner consistently to administer safe, effective and appropriate injectables & non-surgical aesthetic procedures.
Learners must achieve all mandatory units which include: • Consultation principles for non-surgical aesthetic injectable procedures • Psychological impacts and client expectations for non-surgical aesthetic injectable procedures • Managing risks, complications and sub-optimal outcomes • Professionalism, values and ethics for non-surgical aesthetic injectable procedures • Aesthetic injectable procedures for the face and hands using skin boosters • Anatomy and physiology for non-surgical aesthetic injectable procedures • Aesthetic injectable procedures for the face and neck using botulinum toxin • Aesthetic injectable procedures for the face using dermal fillers

The knowledge requirements of this government regulated qualification aim to provide learners with an understanding of the techniques and practices required for the delivery of non-surgical, aesthetic, injectable procedures. Learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety protocols, ethical and legal requirements, key procedure principles, the methods of and reasons for client-centered assessment, how psychology influences aesthetic procedures and anatomy and physiology relevant to each procedure modalities. Additionally, the theory units emphasise the actions, risks and management options associated with botulinum toxin and dermal filler administration. In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills and widen their awareness of the principles and practices of level 7 aesthetic treatments and topical skin care knowledge, all of which are valued highly by employers and clients.

Who is this qualification for? The VTCT Skills Level 3 Award in Adult Basic Life Support, AED and Management of Anaphylaxis is aimed at those learners who have an interest or responsibility to attain knowledge and practical competences required to provide basic life support and manage anaphylaxis in emergency situations. This qualification can also be used to support the prerequisite requirements for VTCT Skills Aesthetic suite of qualifications.
What does this qualification cover? The qualification covers the following areas in line with the First Aid at Work Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, Guidance on Regulations (L74) Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines: • Assessing emergency situations • Provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally • Provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally • Provide first aid to a casualty with anaphylaxis Through this qualification the learner will develop the knowledge and practical competences required to deal with an adult who is unresponsive or experiencing an anaphylactic reaction.
