Course Content

This government approved vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career in advanced skincare or allow you to progress onto advanced aesthetics or injectables. It is one of the few qualifications approved by local authorities when applying for your licence. This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively & professionally. It includes units covering the health & safety / micro-needling protocols & anatomy and physiology relevant to this treatment. Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding various skin peeling techniques used in treatments including superficial & medium depth peeling techniques used in the beauty industry.

Course Structure

This course is 3 days input with additional study time for case studies and a final external assessment day. Day one - theory assignment work either at our academy of remotely via Teams. Day two - practical at our academy - practice various superficial peeling treatments on different areas of face. Day three - practical at our academy - practice various medium depth peeling treatments. Final assessment examination arranged at a later date. Case studies are given for completion. Whilst case studies are being completed you will have access to a mentor to guide you and give you feedback. Some independent theory research is required and access to a laptop / computerized device is desirable.
