Course Content
This teaching qualification is equivalent to the old PTTLS teaching qualification. The VTCT Level 3 Award in Education & Training is a government approved qualification for those interested in a teaching career in further education or becoming an educator/ trainer for a private based academy or company. It will allow you to enter the teaching sector and progress on to other levels. No boring online theory and during the course there are lots of practical opportunities at our training academy. IF YOU WANT TO TEACH A PRACTICAL VOCATIONAL SUBJECT YOU WILL ALSO NEED YOUR ASSESSORS AWARD QUALIFICATION.
Course Structure
Day one Teaching - Theory Completion of assignment & learning how to produce lesson plans & schemes of work etc. (can be completed via Teams or at BBTA)
Day two Microteach - Practical
Practical & Portfolio at academy
Micro-teach to a class at the academy
Both days are scheduled with a study gap in-between to allow for preparation for the micro teach.
