Course Content
This diploma course has been developed for experienced massage therapists who have a special interest in working with people with cancer & and other life limiting conditions such as COPD, MND, heart disease, renal failure, and complex neurological problems either in a clinic or home setting. It covers the knowledge and experience to prepare you to work safely and confidently with vulnerable clients. The course is designed to give you a greater understanding of the causes and how to adapt your techniques to work around medical aids such as stents etc....
Course Structure
Theory & practical will be covered at our academy on your training date. A manual / class notes will be issued to every student. We pride ourselves that you work on real models to give yourself confidence to perform the treatment afterwards. Each short course includes all the resources for your training & models are provided too. Kits are not provided but recommended brands are discussed on your training day.
