Course Content
Dry myofascial cupping is a version of the ancient Eastern style Cupping. A hand operated vacuum pump is used to induce a vacuum inside a cylinder sealed to the skin. The vacuum “draws” the soft tissue perpendicular to the skin thus providing a force to the muscle alleviating any tension and nodules. These cups can be left in one site for a prolonged period or moved along the tissue. Our routine will incorporate gliding and static cupping techniques. A beneficial use for deep tissue massage or sports massage treatments .
Course Structure
Theory & practical will be covered at our academy on your training date. A manual / class notes will be issued to every student. We pride ourselves that you work on real models to give yourself confidence to perform the treatment afterwards. Each short course includes all the resources for your training & models are provided too. Kits are not provided but recommended brands are discussed on your training day.
