Course Content
The candles work using the process of convection. The burning of the candle helps to draw softer waxes and toxins from the ear. Some of these are then oxidised or turned into vapours and burnt. The warm air from the burning candle passes into the ear canal before being gently drawn back up to the top of the candle in a chimney effect. The warm air containing the herbal extract vapours from the candle helps to soften ear wax. This treatment also relieves conditions such as tinnitus and sinus problems. This ear candling course covers how to give a full ear candle treatment including a draining massage post treatment and covers the history, technique and aftercare of the treatment.
Course Structure
Theory is online ( Beauty Guild registration fee £25 ) and a link will be emailed to you to activate this. Theory must be completed prior to your practical input at our academy. Elements of the theory will be recapped on your practical day where our own professional routine is also taught. . Our aim is to focus working on real models to give you confidence to perform the treatment afterwards. Each short course includes all the resources for your training & models are provided too. Kits are not provided but recommended brands are discussed on your training day.
